Kami Riley, President

Kami Riley joined the Junior League of Long Beach in 2017 to make new friends and give back to the community where she was born and raised. Over the course of her Junior League career, Kami has chaired multiple committees, including Fund Development, and Community Partnerships. She has served multiple terms on the Board of Directors as Nominating Committee Chair and President-Elect. She is excited to serve as the League’s current President.

Kami attended Long Beach Poly High School and Long Beach City College before getting her bachelors in psychology at UC Berkeley and her juris doctor degree from the University of Oregon School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in both Washington state and California. Kami is an attorney at a Long Beach-based law firm and appears at the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board on behalf of employers and insurers across the state of California. Kami is concurrently serving as Vice President of the Long Beach Bar Association and enjoys contributing to the local legal community as well.

She is passionate about learning and enjoys the diverse training opportunities the Junior League provides. She is constantly working to develop and hone her leadership skills to be a more effective participant in the workings of her community. In her free time, Kami enjoys trying new workout classes (spin, yoga, Pilates and boxing workouts are all favorites!), hiking, reading, writing short stories, and talking about her most-loved Real Housewives franchises, which are numerous and varied.
