Nisha has been an active member of the Junior League of Long Beach since 2019. A Southern California native, she’s always been passionate about giving back to her community. She first got involved when a close friend invited her to the Kids in the Kitchen community fair, and she’s been committed ever since. Over the years, Nisha has taken on several leadership roles, including most recently as chair of Fund Development and Nominating Chair on the 2023-24 Board of Directors. She’s also chaired committees focused on Diversity, Equity, and Belonging, Strategic Planning, Placement, and New Member Training.

Nisha’s educational background is just as impressive as her community work. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from UC Berkeley, followed by a Master’s in Public Policy with a focus on Health Policy from USC. She also holds a Juris Doctor from Loyola Marymount School of Law. Currently, she works in Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance at Kaiser Permanente.

Outside of work and the Junior League, Nisha is passionate about advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. She co-leads her daughter’s Girl Scout troop, loves diving into fantasy novels, and is always up for a friendly game of UNO.
