Junior League of Long Beach is very proud of that historic reputation, but as society changes, we adapt and evolve. We strive to put our venerable values to work in modern ways; demonstrating our pride and perpetuating our legacy by serving as a powerful voice for action, justice and change throughout Long Beach. Together, we are working to empower our members to increase confidence and self-awareness among youth through character development and life skills programs designed to encourage respect for self and others. Women in and around Long Beach will lead this important initiative. Will you be one of them?
Become a Driving Force of Change Within Your Community
We accept new members in Fall and Spring each year. Our application period is currently closed. When new members apply, they are invited to join 4 training classes (Virtual Options available for all in-person meetings) over a three-month period that will provide them with the tools and information they’ll need to play a crucial role in the Junior League of Long Beach’s current community goal.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must work or reside within or near the greater Long Beach Area
- Demonstrate an interest in voluntarism and a commitment to community service
- Show an interest in developing your potential for community involvement
- Must be at least 21 years of age by application deadline — there is no upper age limit
