Nisha has been an active member of the Junior League of Long beach since 2019. Nisha is a Southern California native and has always been active in her community. She was introduced to the Junior League by a close friend who invited to her a Kids in the Kitchen community fair. Most recently, Nisha was the Chair of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee. She has also served on various other committees including Strategic Planning, Placement, and New Member Training.

Nisha received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular Biology from UC Berkeley. She attended the University of Southern California and received her Masters in Public Policy emphasizing in Health Policy. She also attended Loyola Marymount School of Law and earned her Juris Doctor Degree. Nisha currently works in Corporate Compliance for Kaiser Permanente.

Nisha is passionate about advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is co-leader of her daughter’s Girl Scout troop, loves to read fantasy novels, and is ready to challenge anyone in a game of UNO.
