What do you do outside the League as a job? Tell us all your jobs both professional and other places you volunteer.
I have had my own Executive Coaching and Team Facilitation business for 6 years. I have worked in the field for my entire career spending about 15 years at The Walt Disney Studios doing the same work. I took a leap of faith 6 years ago to do more of the work I love and to have more flexibility. It has been the best leap of my life.  My favorite work is with women leaders and with organizations that support women. I love supporting women’s growth and professional / personal fulfillment.

What city did you grow up and how’d you end up in Long Beach?
Grew up in Atlanta and Memphis
We moved to Long Beach almost 30 years ago because my husband at the time wanted to get into the film business.  We were at a point in our lives where we both wanted something different. A friend said she had heard of this area called Belmont Shore.  We fell instantly in love and ended up living there for over 25 years. Long Beach will always be my chosen home.

Why did you join the JLLB?
For two reasons, to be of service and to build community with amazing like-minded women.

What keeps you staying in the JLLB? What I like to call #WhyiJLLB #ThisIsWhyIJuniorLeague
I have met so many amazing women in the last year. That alone is enough PLUS I get to do some great things with those women!

What are your hobbies / what do you like to do for fun?
I love hiking and try to go on a long hike at least twice a month.  I have two teenagers so driving them around used to be my hobby. Now that we are safe at home, I have enjoyed reading again.

What is a unique fun fact about you?
1.  I used to lead a Disney program at the Studio which ended with the group getting to be characters in the park for a few minutes. When I participated I got to be Pluto for about 30 minutes. It’s really hard to see in those costumes and they are extremely hot!
2.  I try to have one good belly laugh every day.
