Jessica Martone, Executive Vice President

Jessica joined the Junior League of Long Beach in 2015 after moving to Long Beach from Chicago. She was looking for a way to get involved with her community and join a Board where she could help make a difference. During her time in the League, Jessica has chaired different JLLB committees, served on the Board as Board Assistant, Membership Vice President, and now serves on the Board in the League’s new role, Executive Vice President. Through the League’s formal and informal training, Jessica has gained skills that have helped her grow personally and professionally and she is grateful for the friendships she has developed.

Jessica works as a research coordinator for a nonprofit organization, Osteopathy’s Promise to Children. She also works on evaluation projects with the Orange County Department of Education, and Reach Out, a community-based organization in the Inland Empire focused on strengthening communities. Jessica is passionate about research and evaluation and loves helping individuals and organizations build their capacity to conduct research and evaluation. Jessica loves blending her passion for working with the community and her love of data. Being a researcher/evaluator means she gets to help people obtain critical data that can help advance a field or help organizations understand impactful changes they’re creating in individuals and the community.

Outside of the League and work, Jessica loves spending time with her husband, two little kids, and her husky. She loves traveling, going on adventures, going to outdoor concerts, trying new food, running, and dancing.
