Current Placement(s) in the JLLB? Arrangements Chair

What year did you join the JLLB? How many years is that? I joined in the Spring Class of 2017 –  2.5 years

Where did you go to school and what degrees do you hold? UC Irvine. Economics Degree, Business Minor.

What do you do outside the League as a job? Tell us all your jobs both professional and other places you volunteer. I work in marketing & advertising. Currently an Account Executive at Pacific Communications in OC. In this role I partner with my client to provide strategic support and create marketing materials.

What city did you grow up and how’d you end up in Long Beach? I grew in San Diego. I moved to LB 3 years ago from OC because it is the ideal location between OC and LA. Also LB has lots of character like SD.

Why did you join the JLLB? I joined because I wanted an activity outside of work where I could meet new people and get connected to Long Beach. I was referred to Junior League from a coworker and after attending a mixer, I knew I had found what I was looking for.

What keeps you staying in the JLLB? In such a short time, Junior League has made such a positive impact on my life. I’ve met amazing like-minded females who I can call friends. There are so many opportunities available to members, like trainings, socials, volunteer opportunities which allow me to be constantly learning and gain new experiences. I’ve only touched the tip of the iceberg and am excited for what new opportunities will arise each year. I stay because of the friendships I have made and will continue to make.

What are your hobbies / what do you like to do for fun? I am a big fan of binge watching TV series! Right now I am on season 5 of New Girl.
What is your dream place to travel/visit and why? Bora Bora or the Maldives. I dream of vacationing in one of those bungalows over the crystal clear water.

If you could have one superpower what would it be and why? Mind reading, because I think I could help others heal and learn from very successful people.
